Frequently Asked Questions
Good to know
Answers to the questions we hear most often. If yours is not here, just ask.
How far in advance should we book?
As early as you can, especially for weddings, matric balls and December functions, which are often booked six to twelve months ahead. Smaller celebrations can usually be arranged with a few weeks’ notice, so please ask even if your date is close.
Do you travel outside Wellington?
Yes. We regularly style events in Paarl, Stellenbosch, Franschhoek, Worcester and across the Cape Winelands, and we travel further afield by arrangement. Travel is quoted transparently as part of your quotation.
Can we hire decor only, without styling or catering?
Absolutely. Many clients hire tables, chairs, linen, glassware and decor items from us and set up themselves. We can also deliver and collect, or add setup and styling if you prefer. See the full list of services.
Can you cater for dietary requirements?
Yes. Halaal-friendly, vegetarian, vegan, gluten-free and other dietary-specific options are available on request. Tell us about your guests when you enquire and we will build the catering menu around them.
What do we need to confirm a booking?
Once you are happy with your quotation, a signed confirmation and a booking deposit secure your date. The balance is settled before the event, and we confirm final numbers and details with you in the weeks beforehand.
Do you set up and pack down on the day?
Yes. Our team arrives ahead of time to set up and style, coordinates with your venue and suppliers, and returns to pack down afterwards, so you can simply enjoy your celebration.
